👉 🎓 See how to do it step by step
In the shift settings, you can manually add or modify the schedule of your operational shifts.
To do this, click on Settings > Shift Schedules.
New layout
On the vertical axis, you’ll see your list of machines, and on the horizontal axis, the progression of shifts over time. Each colored block represents a shift, and you can view its details by hovering your mouse over it.
Colors
Quickly distinguish the organization of your shifts by color—Morning, Afternoon, and Night, or Day and Night—depending on your company’s structure. You can visualize the shift timeline by differentiating past shifts (filled blocks) from upcoming shifts (empty blocks).
Date
Search for past or future shifts by editing the date on the calendar. Navigate back and forth linearly using the Previous and Next buttons.
1. Creating Shifts
Click on the button.
The “New Shifts” window will automatically open.
The configurable fields are:
a. Shift Name
Usually labeled as: morning, afternoon, night, day, etc.
b. Machines
Machines that will operate during the shift being created.
c. Shift Hours
Select the start and end times of the shift.
d. Recurrence
YES / NO.
If "NO", the configuration will only apply once and will not repeat.
If "YES", the shift will be recurring.
e. Time Period
If you select "Recurrence = YES", define the start and end dates of this shift in the calendar.
f. Days of the Week
Select the days of the week when this shift should repeat.
Repeat this process for each shift you want to create.
In some cases, created shifts rarely change. In others, shifts may be scheduled and modified weekly or even daily on the Pulsar platform.
Contact the Customer Success team if you have any difficulties setting up “Shift Schedules.”
2. Modifying or Deleting Shifts (Individually)
If you need to modify or delete a shift individually, simply click on the shift you want to change or remove. A window will automatically open with the options: Modify or Delete.
3. Deleting Shifts (In Bulk)
If you want to change shifts in bulk, use the Delete Shift option. Enter the machine, shift, and time period you want to delete.
If you only want to delete shifts on Saturday, for example, you can use the weekday selector (Mo, Tu, We, Th, Fr, Sa, Su) to choose the days that should be removed.
