👉 🎓 See how to do it step by step
At Pulsar, we understand our customers’ operational needs. That’s why we’ve launched a new configuration designed to simplify continuous operator assignments. This feature is ideal for operations where the same worker remains assigned to a machine for extended periods — whether days, weeks, or even months.
With this update, you can plan assignments once and allow Pulsar to manage them automatically for every shift, resulting in:
âś… Less manual work in the platform
âś… Automatic operator tracking, ensuring more accurate and reliable analytics
Step 1 — Download template
Go to Settings → Operator Planning.
Download the template directly from the platform and, in the .csv file, define the operator, machine, shift, and day of the week.
Step 2 — Upload your new plan
Upload the file and create your plan.
You can schedule it for a specific date range or leave it open-ended (set it to “Ends: Never”).
Step 3 — Automatic assignment
When a shift starts on the date you specified, Pulsar automatically assigns the planned operator.
The assignment is immediately reflected in the Real-Time view.
Step 4 — Modify as necessary
Last-minute change?
From the Operators section in the main menu, you can edit the assignment for a specific shift without modifying your overall plan.
If you’re experiencing issues configuring scheduled downtime or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to contact your Customer Success representative. You can also submit a support ticket directly within the Pulsar application.
We’re always happy to support you. 🚀
